after having a great weekend out returning via medusa, wallet and spit area we twice lurched violently to port at 15-18 knots , had a good inspection as thought it may have been the tabs suddenly sticking but they both seemed ok, could it have been a badly marked fishing trace/ or pot that i have heard and seen written before that may have caught the port prop, as never experienced anything so sevear before i wondered if any of you guys may have some thoughts, especially as swmbo now dreads going above 8knots!

I have had the same happen on my previous boat. Crusing along at 20 knots and a sudden tilt to one side or the other.

I understand it was just the way the boat sits on the chines at times with a urbulant water state such as slight overfalls etc. I was told that it is common and sometimes people travel for miles on the tilt as it were.
