I am very perturbed by the thinking about the so called new normal. What people are saying is that all the regulations and restrictions will be our lives from here on and it will last for the permanent future.

That should not be the case. We are in a temporary pandemic. It should end at some reasonable point when a vaccine is developed or we achieve herd immunity.

You will be lucky , it will end when enough people realise it is a load of nonsense and start behaving “ normally “ again

Lifted out, work begins this weekend on a Grade 1 refurbishment and decluttering now we are not sailing into the sunset.

Was sad to hear you were not sailing off into the sunset, but also relieved to hear you are not planning to chuck it in altogether.
