Obvious the East Coast ends at Withernsea - about 53.45.812198N. Of course there is a little grace of the ECF pennant........... We needed to go west so as to stand out right looking properly on the pennant!

Or to put it another way, if you feel like you're on the East Coast, or even just like the East Coast (wherever that is), you're in.

I think most on the ECF are in the Essex and Suffolk rivers; the bulk of the others anywhere between North Foreland and the Humber (but including the French/Belgian/Dutch side of things), but some are further afield. The extent of coastline shown on the ECF burgee was informed by aesthetic and other considerations, and shouldn't be taken as definitive. Of the many ECF rules, perhaps the most pertinent is Rule 1, which states there are no rules.
