Started some years back at a time when more gatherings were being organised than we seem to have these days, the edit function used to allow extra events to be added without any further posts, I see we can no longer do that. I was about to add a link to the 2015 events thread before that expires at the end of the year, apparently I can't so I started looking further. It seems that the calendar link at the top of the page now allows events to be added, so as well as the 2015 events thread, the calendar thread seems to be superfluous to requirements and out dated. Question being, is the calendar still being used on here, or do I request that the sticky be unstickied ?
I'll let this roll for now to give others a chance to have their say

My vote, by the way, is to let it slide into oblivion, but I do know plenty of others have found it to be useful even if they're the quiet type who rarely post, but please speak up and have your say, everyone. Don't worry about the influx of trolls since this forum moved, I think it's safe to say, we know who they are

We could start a new link to the ECF List and get that made Sticky.
That would be useful as I would allow me to edit it as the holder of the list.
Mind you I suspect it is out of date for some people.

Pretty much in line with my thoughts Clive, originally there wasn't a problem with sticky threads when there was only one, that changed to two but both were consolidated into one. Now we have three and it's a pain on my tablet having to scroll down past the three to see any new stuff. The red diesel thread is important to many so as the list of members is hosted on your system, maybe start a new 'ECF Useful Links' thread and add a link to the diesel thread, get that stickied and let the three threads currently dominating the screen drop. You may well be correct about some people needing updates but that's up to them, as it always has. Suppose you could also add a link to the calendar too, the historical stuff is there, and any other info needed could just be an added link rather than yet another sticky
