Also be aware that with the tracking number, the recipient can contact DHL and have the parcel diverted to a different address without your knowledge. You won't know where the phone ends up or have an address to claim on when the payment fails. I get a number of these scam emails asking me to ship binoculars in this fashion. I ignore them all.
