I have used ducksback covers on my various boats for sometime now and have been very impressed. I know some people dont like them but I recall questions being asked about them in the past.

The cost between about £50 - £100. are very light weight, easy to get on and off and I think fit well for a non bespoke boat cover. From my experience in the UK they seem to last between 3-4 years which for the price I feel is very good. I have just bought one for the Honwave T40 and also treated my Narwhal to a new one.

Here is a little video that might help others to decide if these covers are for them.

I gave up on the cheap covers and bought a bespoke cover from Seaswan. It is 3 times the price but a much thicker grade of material with a fairly soft lining. It also fits properly and doesn’t flap around in the wind. It also has Velcro flaps to fit around the a-frame and keep the majority of the winter debris and rain out.

There are cheap covers and there are Ducksback covers. The ducksback may be a low price but they are not 'cheap'. They are very good

Were the previous covers you had Ducksback ?

I bought one that covers our new 2.5m SIB that lives inverted on the coach roof, too early to say about its UV protection qualities but not a bad, non-custom cover with numerous straps and elasticated transom tie.
