That sounds challenging.
It would suggest coast hugging as much as possible - inshore of the Lands End shipping separate zone, along the south coast of England to somewhere like Weymouth for a cross Channel trip to Alderney (65M) then through Guernsey to Jersey. This will take you through the shipping lanes but you have to pass them at some stage.

Cant speak for the Irish Sea crossing - you probably need to pick a very stable weather pattern....how about shipping the boat over to Emgland then round the coast?

Challenging maybe . . . but suggesting shipping the boat across the Irish Sea seems a bit OTT IMHO . . . many circumnavigations have been made in smaller boats (eg Shrimpy, 18ft plywood Caprice).

What type of boat do you have? That would make the question easier to answer . . . there are lots of 21ft boats, not all of them equal when it comes to offshore voyaging.

Re: I\'d

stay offshore. Well away from shipping choke points and fishermen and their gear.

The shipping is no worse for you than any one else. You'll need a stoical crew who know what they're about or you'll get no rest. VHF & a nice big radar reflector go without saying.

Tiredness is going to be your biggest problem. The boat will do it can you?

Sounds like a bit of fun though.

Something like 360 odd nM, so at say 4 knots, somewhere around 90 hours.

Johnboy, can I recommend you get yourself Macmillan Reeds Nautical Almanac and a couple of pilotage books for your excursion? You'll need a bit of detailed tried and trusted info for your trip.
