hi have moved the boat from Plymouth to Mallorca. In plymouth she has been dry sailed for 5yrs and now have here in this hot climate. I have just noticed tiny gaps appearing in the 3planks just above the waterline in the bow. Some repairs seem to be have made in this section.

is is best to put her in the water for a week and let the moisture back into the boat or continue with her out of the water and repair seams?

She is a varnished hull and my intention was to dry sail her rather than leave her in the water. any advice please?

Can you tell us more about the boat. I am assuming carvel, so is she conventionally caulked or has she splined seams? What stopping is put over the caulking?
If she is built some other way the advice might be totally different.

she is a borresen dragon built in 1967. not sure on planking i'm guessing nothing in the seams. Varnished hull epoxy on the waterline.
