Where's are good place on the Crouch near BYH to dry out for a few hours between tides? Somewhere firm enough to walk on but soft enough for a lifting keel.

Down near the Roach or just up river from BYH Have a look at low tide and take bearings on the spot that you select. A bit muddier than near Roach. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I dried out our Evo 25 just down river of the Rice & Coles access pontoon 2 years ago to scrape off some fouling during Brunham Week.
There is a sort of mooring there with a fisherman's anchor bedded in the sand.
The top fluke was bent over but it would make a bad hole if you dry out on it.
The foreshore was a bit muddy up towards the sea wall.
Do have a look at it on a low tide before you use the area.
I am sure that FullCircle will be along soon to fill in anything I have forgotten to mention.
