Drying Legs

Cannot help you really, but why not just tilt the engine up?

Surely that will allow you take the ground during low tide and she'll settle in the silt etc...

Or ... what am I missing, is she so steep V that she'll tilt heavily??

Divemaster1, you are correct... she will take the ground with engine up providing that it is soft mud so she can settle upright. She has a small skeg that runs the length of the keel and a fair slope on it so if the ground was firm I am sure she would be tilted over a fair bit. That certainly would be OK in an emergency but I would probably fall out of my bed and cooking, even making tea, might be impossible!

Kawasaki, I have PM PDeLaMare but I am hoping to find some where a little nearer to home!

Keelguard is a good idea but with the skeg I am not sure if it will fit easily... I will check when next at the boat.

I think your underwaters are the same as mine and the Keel Guard fitted perfectly on mine.

I can confirm that there is quite a lean when on the ground.

Arny would do well to ger a set of these, they are a tad expensive but are excellent quality. For a small power boat a set of the cheaper, fixed length, legs should work well. I mainly use mine for laying up (with props as well for extra peace of mind) saves having the bother of a cradle and you take them with you.

Arny,
I maybe of help here, I have a set which I dont intend to use.

They were fitted to my Fairline Targa 28 & are currently awaiting listing on Ebay.

Looking at the literature that came with them they are "Pre set length" stowable telescopic yacht supports.

Looks like you preset the length to your boat but then they are telescopic to aid stowage.

I will post some picks if you want & will be open to offers.

The same as these :
