Repair drill holes on the deck

can you give us a bit more to go on? boat? construction? decking surface? age?

Drill out to fit hardwood dowel. Cap with gelcoat. If there is antislip, take a silicon mold of an area to replicate.

Grind a shallow crater around each hole, then fill with mat/resin and finish with gelcoat taped over to exclude air and allow proper cure.

Thanks guys. I’m replacing my old Seahorse windlass with a new Lofrans Manual windlass. The holes don’t line up.
