The clamp is on the outside, hose goes over the elbow . It's the attachment on the inside that's the tricky bit is there isn't much room , also the bolts shear off the transom shield which is another story .
Ok .... So the hose (part 6) must go inside the flange (part 10) .... through the transom and be fixed behind the transom (between part 10 and part 11 along with the gasket part 8). From the photo though it appeared that the hose just went on the flange from the outside without a clamp. Glad I asked
Doing the change of the water inlet hose now... The 2 hexagon screws (item 12 on the diagram above - part number 955516) ... anyone has an idea what torque to apply to these ? ... The transom is made of Alloy I guess so cannot be much .... 10 Nm ?
