Don\'t try this at home

From Boat Doctor.com
Customer brought a boat in Monday for misc repairs along with the removal of the aft prop on a Volvo Duo prop system. Rubber hammer didn't budge it and you could tell by the corrosion it wasn't going to give up easily. Installed the ole rosebud on the torch, drug up my milk crate and sat down next to the prop. Started slowly heating the outside of the prop and using the rubber hammer to rotate the prop so as not to damage the alum. After a few minutes, I thought I would tap the rear of the prop to see if it would move any. Tap, wooosh, bang. Prop cleared close to 15 feet before it hit the shop floor. I've had them pop off but never got close to that distance before. Those things fly coming off the rubber. Think I'll mark the distance on the floor and see how far I can get next time.
