Over the past few years i have had some problems with the holding tank and macerator (knackerd impellor) so have been apprehensive about using the heads for real reasons.....oooo er missus.
i may have some small people on board at anchor for one night in a few weeks so need to be confident that all is well.
I cheated a bit recently when i guessed there was only liquid in the tank and pressed the button to discharge the contents
door was open to the heads and i heard a sucking noice from the bowl as thougfh the macerator was emptying any contents still in the bowl.
this suggests to me that the tank is empty and the pump is emptying everything available
or the tank is full....again!!!!
the guage doesnt say its full.
