Does Captain Tolley's CCCure work?

Thanks for the replies, have got an irritating weep around wind screen seal,so it sounds as if it will do the job.

By Murphys law it has rained pretty steadily since I purchased it so I haven't had chance to test it.

It does smell and look like diluted PVA glue.

What is it anyway? I suspect it is just PVA glue.

I have had success with a product locally called Bondcrete. It's a PVA glue used as an additive in concrete mix. Also an excellent waterproof wood glue and diluted with water is used as a sealant prior to painting. I used it the same way as people are using Capt Tolley's to seal around windows.

CAUTION

Its great for glass/rubber seals.

BUT some windows are flexible acrylic / perspex / polycarbonate held in place by double sided sticky foam sealed with silicone/silkaflex.

creeping crack will creep into the seal past the silicone and into the double sided sticky foam and release the bond making the situation worse.
