Hi guys,

Does anyone have a set of plans for a Cornish Lugger?

We've decided that's what we wish to build and this is the first step of the planning so any ideas would be appreciated.

Try the Falmouth Maritime Museum www.nmmc.co.uk Their ref-library section shouldbe able to help. Also there are at least three renovated Luggers at 'muddybank' top of the Penryn river.

Try www.daltonyoung.co.uk they hold plans from Percy Dalton, might be worth a try.

Edgar March's fantastic book SAILING DRIFTERS is full of plans for Cornish luggers of different types.

There is a fine collection of lines plans, scantlings, sail plans and spar dimensions.
