Does anyone have A Fiarline Targa 40?

Hi,

I have a Targa 40, but it lives in La Rochelle.

I am heading down for half term and want to take with me some nice wood flooring as getting a cartpet cleaner in France is tricky and wood = nicer looks and less stress with kids!

As the boat is in La Rochelle ... I cant look at it! I live in Central London, so if any forumite has a targa 40 either on the thames or S Coast that i could spend 20 minutes looking at the floor that would be great!

I need to find out (a) how much wood to order (b) the extent or otherwise that I will have to modify the self lifting hatch in the floor and the one over the shower strainer. I also have a feeleing that there is another hatch under the carpet forward of the shower strainer that is covered in carpet, so need to understand the mpact of covering it up!

I also need a new speed sensor so finding out the exact model would be handy!

Hi there, yep, I've got a T40, in Brighton marina, and you're very welcome to come and have a look if you like. The bowthruster access panel is in the front cabin floor, could that be the extra hatch you were thinking of? There are also two access panels in the mid-cabin floor, one between the bunks (to let you get at the forward bilge pump) and the other one just inside the cabin door (for the fluxgate compass).
