Seen travelling up the Medway......Sunseeker perhaps

Sounded like it was powered by a couple of big V8s.

The engines sound like Detroits so lord knows what legs are on it and would guess from her lines mid 70s design ?

Would not think Detroits ... too big, torqy and heavy for installing at stern of a 35 ft....

Even the "tiny" power pack DD V6 (which could give you 550 hp) weighs in just above 1500 kg ... which makes for more than three tonnes at the stern... V8's gets heavier ... and the straight six squeeze in just below 1500 kg at a mere 1490 kg... /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

They were built on your doorstep at Allington Marina!!

They built those and also had the moulds to the Maclan 22 and 25 and there are a few of those about down your way too.

Always thought they were ugly myself?

Thank all and esp jkay. Will try to track down which yard it is in and try to get an invite aboard.
Looked for a brief moment just like the sort of thing we needed "classic" lines with decent sized interior and low airdraft for ditchcrawling, until that was the word ...outdrive reared its ugly head. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think they may have been made here in the UK under license for a while as they look slightly different from the good
old US of A ones
