A thread in Scuttlebutt has led me to conclude that we East Coasties are a friendly bunch, as we seem to be the only ones that make a habit of waving at other boats...

So.... am I right?

Come to think of it, I don't think we have had a single dispute about anything on the East coast, or at least not like they do on the South coast /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Maybe we could have a which anchor for 28' long weed which blanket covers the boats mooring thread?

Or maybe a who has right of way in a 100m gap between a HV power cable and a stong bridge argument?

Sometimes they wave back sometimes they don't but no harm in trying.

I always wave at any passing boat, whether it be sail or mobo..

But must say, a Rimmer salute???... I just creased up.. Thats a definate one for me from now on, so if I see any of you out there and theres a nutter in a red Etap, looking a little worse for wear, dont worry, it'll only be me...PMSL
