Whoops !Missing the option "Always"
That's pretty much my situation, but I haven't got one fitted to Jazzcat yet - it's on the list.Always - until I can't stand it any longer or when it would disrupt communication between crew on deck
with our RAM you can turn it on /off remotely. saves a trip down under.Missing the option "when I remember to turn it on"
I rest my case.On but turned down in Solent unless listening to QHM .
I have trained my son to press the cancel button.Always, until I switch it off after too many DSC alarms.
Thanks for setting up this poll. Very reassuring that so many are reporting "always".Thought this might run alongside the radio checks thread.

Have you also trained him to turn it off when you receive a mayday? DSC is just a more efficient way to convey information, you’re still supposed to check the info and see if it’s near!I have trained my son to press the cancel button.
