Do you own a superyacht?

I try to avoid using unnecessary superlatives but I think that my yacht is "quite nice"

The definition I've seen is different but makes a lot more sense. Up to 24m it's a private yacht, over it's a superyacht. Next stage is 500t. All based on qualifications and legal obligations. This has a knock on effect that your captain and crew are drastically more expensive at certain sizes, with most of the likes of us not being able to afford the skipper on something bigger than 500t let alone the crew or the boat!

I can barely afford the skipper and crew on my "yacht" - and I'm both of them

I think some of owners I know would be a little upset with that label.

Possibly, if their sense of humour were lacking.
