I'm not sure if this is best here, move if needs be, however,I need to move my boat from it's mooring in the Helford.

It is completly my fault as I left the UK thinking I would be back in time to have her out for haul out season. However, it is still on it's mooring and I have been asked to move it out of the Helford for the winter as the mooring's insurance won't cover boats in the winter.

I would be willing to contribute to maintenance of the mooring and the soul of the skipper (the latter in whisky or Rum :) )

It would just give me a few needed weeks to get the cradle and trailer sorted before I take the boat out of the water for the summer.

Thanks In adavance

My sister has her own full swinging mooring in the creek just behind Mylor Harbour (need to check your draft is OK though!). She keeps her speedboat on it. It's a size-able boat so should take the weight of yours. If you get really stuck pm me as there maybe a snag to this that I don't want to mention an open forum...

I could offer you a drying out mooring further up the creek also but need to check it is definitely vacant - should be :) Can yours dry out? What size/weight is your boat?

EDIT -Monkfish24 OK so probably not drying!

Hello,

Many thanks for the offer, unfortunatly it's for a 1.75m draft boat! Slightly too deep to dry :D

James.

Try calling Brian, at the Sailing School in Mylor Harbour or Heard Boat yard etc. Think it's a case of calling around to see what you can get hold of as a back up just in case this thread doesn't bring anything up - good luck. Think your 24 will be too big/deep for my sisters mooring! :(

Sorry, I should have specified, it's not for the Seawolf, I have a 22ft toy for racing (as cheaply as possible if there is such a thing)

Thanks and No problems Zagato, I will keep on looking around.

Thanks simon!
I Will contact them and see what they have.
