Do you enjoy

The sun is shining and I'm stuck in the factory so:-

Just spent a pleasant couple of hours working this one out.

Depart Cherbourg
Pass through Alderney Race
Re - fuel in St. Peter Port (Ensure sufficient water at fuel berth)
Enter through gate at Binic (North Britanny) at top of tide

bearing in mind, also, time difference from France to UK (CI) to France

all in the one morning.

Good job it's a slack day in the office.

It is a requirement to have a passage plan, but it cam be in your head lol

Seriously, that's what it says.

I think that's about right, although having something on paper obviously provides more evidence than "It were in me 'ead, Guv" when the MCA come to call. However, there is an exclusion to this requirement covering inland waterways - and the bulk of the Solent between Bembridge and Hurst (no; I'm not making this up :)).

My old solicitor said. Never write anything down.

I think passage planning is a good example. If you wrote, it down, you either did not follow the plan, or got the plan wrong. So guilty. However if you have the plan in your head, there may be a way to be a bit creative!!
