Do we really need that second heads?

Well I didn't want to push it too hard.....They can get a bit upset if they perceive that you are taking the piss!

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, but we have a lot more fun than you. While you're still dragging your weary ass into harbour, I'm just lighting up a post-prandial gasper and calling up my drug-dealer on speed dial /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Chrusty

Although some mobo fit your description we actually like to stay on anchor and cook on board and fish, we don’t go fast because we are not in a rush, but we do like our creature comforts on board! Like dish washer, a/c which keeps a dry boat no musty smells.

Funny enough all my sailing friends tend to tie up to us in the evening and use our ice (forgot to mention the ice machine).

So yes I think each mobo owner and there per fences but I would rather stay on anchor in a sheltered place then be in a marina. And I think the bigger the boat and the more comfort I would be more able to do that, having said that I have seen lots of big boats that never leave the marina?

Re: Soap Dodger\'s Boat

My initial thoughts were that many of us have houses with only one bathroom, but that doesnt stop us having people to stay, (other things might, but not the one bathroom).... so why should it be different on a boat.

I looked at my second ensuite shower room, and thought how much more storage, or saloon, or kitchen space we could have had if it wasnt there..

BUT

last night I had a shower in the master shower room and, when I woke to go to the loo at 3am, (or whenever), the floor was still a bit wet so, rather than get wet feet, I used the forward shower room. There's only me on board, but thank goodness for the second heads!!

And that's a raggie talking /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Soap Dodger\'s Boat

Traitor!!!........Should be ashamed of yourself so you should! Lord above! What a mamby pamby lot!

If you wanted the heads on my boat, you would get handed a galvanised buckit! and get told that if you made mess in it, you would be made to lick it clean afterwards. Call yerself sailors??? Wimps the lot of yer. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

It all sounds very nice Tom, hey, if it rings your bell, then it's ok with me. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

However, I can't be putting up with that kind of talk from a raggie, just told that Richard_M44 what's what!

Can't have raggies letting the side down like he has just done! Oh dear me no! Begger needs lashing to a grating and given a dose of the cat......or is that given a dose by the cat??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

"Begger needs lashing to a grating and given a dose of the cat"

Now that would liven my day up!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

What's a grating?

Google it you......you........you........bloody 'erbert!

Oh never mind...Teak gratings were installed in the decks of sailing ships of yore, to allow some light below. They could be lifted, and lashed to a pin rail or mast, and the miscreants were then lashed to it be flogged.

The nearest thing to a flogging you lot will ever come to is a visit to Madam Whiplash's establishment on Union Street.

Ah! perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned that, you will all be forming a queue! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Galvanised? Well, there's posh, innit?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah well, plastic gets a bit tainted after a while.....The best buckits for crapping in are made of cedar, but very difficult to obtain now.
