DIY Winter Shrink Wrapping

Has anyone tried shrink wrapping their boat for by themselves? It seems very popular in some countries but I see little about it here.

Mine came shrink wrapped from new, well done by Cornish Crabbers, which saved a lot of road dirt during the tow up north. I had planned to keep it on over the winter but even having cut ventilation holes there was an awful lot of condensation inside. In the end I took it all off and she’s much drier. I wouldn’t use it again. I may buy an overall canvas or breathable cover for next winter. Or leave her afloat.
