Disposing of domestic rubbish at sea

Eat an apple whilst toodling on the river - core over the side.

Banana skin likewise? Do they breakdown in sea water?


What, where and why. And what do you do?

I certainly don't throw apple cores, banana skins etc. overboard or from car windows .. they may be biodgradable eventually, but until then they are unsightly litter.

I am not really sure why it is on the list after all isn't sand just glass?

Walking on sand is pleasant, but not if a bottle's been washed ashore and broken .. I have the scars.
