Sorry for the slow responses; unexpected work issues.

The RYA SW Disability guy has been emailed.

Just a résumé. No buildings at all; it's a 'virtual'' club. One pontoon on very muddy and slippery ground, accesssed by a set of steps which are very steep. No chance of any crane or zip wire from land down to the pontoon.

Off to bed; it has been a long 24 hours.

You need to refute the challenge. The Equality Act 2010 only requires you to make reasonable adjustments to accommodate disabled people. Reasonable changes depend on whether they're practical, whether your clubs has funds, whether the changes would resolve the difficulties disabled people have. In your club's case, it's clear that no changes would be effective as none of the boats has disabled access.

+1. Many churches are a) listed and b) have steps to the door. Providing wheelchair access is only required under those circumstances IF the changes are reasonable. In fact most churches try very hard to be accessible (movable ramps etc.); but there are situations where it simply isn't feasible to provide a safe solution, and in that case, you aren't required to.
