Dirty decks

Ready for winter this weekend I removed the sails and all the covers etc to expose a rather dirty deck and coach roof, the boat is at present still in the marina so what do you recommend for cleaning the decks, cannot use anything too chemical based as it will all finish up in the marina.

Any ideas

Scrubbing brush with some detergent

Oxyclean in washing up liquid is pretty good, or Starbright Boat wash and hot water.

Pressure washer shifts most things without contaminating the oggin. Gets in all the fiddly little out of the way places as well, without having to recourse to toothbrushes/lose finger nails etc!

Also tends to blast the Sikaflex out as well, so be a bit careful around deck penetrations etc.

And... powerwashing won't do teak any good. It will leave harder annual rings standing proud while softer fibres go over the side.
