Adding more tube to a snorkle is not recomended. The exhaled breath will not have a chance to leave the tube, you keep breathing in the old stuff. There needs to be a separate exhaust valve set up.

Yes, it won't work with longer tube on an ornery snorkel - can't suck in the air and can't blow it out through a long tube - hence diving kit has compressed air and sepret exhaust valve.

Meanwhile i wd like to know why arthur thinks he is more than averagely buoyant, hm? Scoffing lots of candy floss won't do it. Mind you, Uncle Benno's wholegrain weetiflakes and a quart of juice every morning might, provided he also eats the styrofoam cup.
