why are'nt the owners forced to bag the [--word removed--] like dog owners? Is it cos the Queen won't do it?

Probably because they eat normal food unlike the stuff we normally consume.I guess that never crossed your mind.

Aha light dawns , apologies for being so thick! All is now clear ... its oK for vegetarians to dump in public spaces without clearing up! Perfect solution for IBS sufferers, go veggie and dump when and where you want!

They sell horse poo round here for 50p a large bag.
I dont see dog owners offering the same???

So following this line of thinking I am thinking that the horse owner considers that his animal is giving away 50p presents to the public(bring your own bag) every time it lifts its tail, and is thus rendering a valuable service.

The dog owner, having waste of no apparent value, is thus constrained to take it home. If he/she has a mind or a conscience.

Hope this helps.

When I was a kid the milkman's horse did valuable service. First one out with their bucket and shovel got free fertilizer for the garden.

In some ski resorts the tourist horse and trap have a large sheet behind the horse to catch it.

I resisted the temptation to say "pony and trap" in case the Cockneys got going!

They sell it down here, it's advertised as "Bagged and well rotted" Always new the streets of Dorset were paved with $h1t.

We'll if horeshit is so desireable and valuable, why do'nt the horeriders collect it and flog it when they get home?

Well, I never. I haven't ever noticed that my daughter's horse blinks when he craps. I must watch more closely, at a safe distance, next time.

All I can add is that I sure know which I prefer to tread in. Horses tend to do it in large round lumps that are relatively dry & odour free. Dog muck is seriously unpleasant anywhere, and spreads everywhere once trodden in.

Incidentally, dried horse muck makes a good fuel for open fires as well as fertiliser for the roses.
