Dinghy vinyl lettering.

If you want to spend a small fortune (seriously, try their web site and see how much it costs) on some sticky plastic letters by all means use funky monkey, if not I can recommend internet signs direct, they have thousands of fonts, etc. I got mine done for £4.44 post free, funky monkey came to £55 plus postage for 6 x 10cm letters...

Dinghy Vinyl lettering

Hi Mark

The best way of sign writing your inflatable tender, is the old fashioned way.
Using a good quality vinyl paint (specially made for painting signs etc.) like the banners you see across race meetings and the sides of curtain side trucks etc.

I is a lot more durable and flexible(for folding the boat up) than the stick on labels.

You need a good steady hand or stencils for the letters.

I want to do my boat, but I am happy to let you try on yours first.
I’ve got the paint by the way.

Cheers

One for the readers, after the kind offer of painting my dinghy, genuine and honest tale, the sign writer has painted the boat name on gwalia's bumpers:
UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!

So many thanks for your kind offer of a paint job but in this instance I will decline.

PS This thread is in strict confidence

Thanks for that lovechops

the finger fenders will look great in Australia

Shame you are only going to Coventry.

Thinners has worked a treat, they look as good as the tender now.

I will help you pin your letters on.
