Dinghy tender pump

I've just bought one by Sevylor (Sevylor 12V High Pressure Pump OutdoorGB), but haven't tried it yet, as my new dinghy hasn't arrived yet! But inflating a dinghy isn't very challenging - they operate at pressures far below that of (say) car tyres, so I'd be surprised if it didn't fully inflate the dinghy, without needing topping up. They seem to have increased the price since I bought mine a few weeks ago! The challenge is in shifting the high volume of air required - that's why car tyre pumps don't work; they don't supply enough volume of air. The one I've bought has pretty good reviews; the worst is 3 star, and even that says the pump is fine; the hoses could be better!

Pumps are either fan blown low pressure/high volume or piston pumps which can go to high pressure but are low volume. So the more expensive have both types in one unit, fan to quickly fill the tubes then switch over to piston above about 1 PSI. Yours looks interestingly like they made a piston pump with a bigger piston than usual so max pressure isn't huge but enough and volume isn't tiny like the electric car pumps. Two reviews say 8 minutes for a SUP which hold quite a small volume compared to a dinghy, more like just the air floor. Another says 3x sups in 20 minutes. Might be quite slow for a dinghy, please let us know when you've tried it. Another review says gets hot don't do more than 2 sups. I spent a fair while puzzling over the best choice so I'm curious to know how it goes
