Can anyone tell me if they have the most recent MBY on the news stand app yet? (The one with piers article in about the lovely flemming) I received the paper copy last week but it hasn't downloaded yet onto iPad. Have tried to restore all purchases but still nothing??

It should have been there yesterday although it can take a bit longer...(not our fault) MBY is published on the first Thursday of the month although print subscribers sometimes get it earlier due to post but digital will always be on the day of publication.

i have had the digital for several years, it is great for archiving the magazines so they do not take up any shelf space, however I find I dont look at the digital as much as I used to look at the paper version. It has all the features with good light and being able to magnify so no need for reading glasses!! I just find holding a magazine more exciting, more pleasing, maybe it is a age thing!!
Saying all that I will not move back to paper, as you always have every copy to hand.

I've been reading the Zinio iPad edition for a few months now. It looks good on the retina screen and the video links are useful but it's not what I'd call a proper digital magazine. It's a digital copy of a print magazine.

The main issue is that none of the articles are laid out with a tablet in mind. This means constantly zooming in and out, scrolling, switching between landscape and portrait etc to view things properly.

I appreciate that it might be difficult for a specialist magazine with relatively low circulation to have a dedicated digital edition but some revisions to layouts would be a big help.

Don't know. If I type "yachting" into the app store search box it comes up fifth on the list.

Seems odd. Are you searching on an iPad? It won't show up on iPhone because it's an iPad only app.

Hi to all,

I have both ZINIO YWB and YW monthly for the ipad, for which I am not happy at all.

First of all, the youtube videos do not play. After tapping the appropriate icon, I get an error message!

Secondly when downloading an issue, 99% of the times I get a network error, and i have to re-download it again.

There are other problems too, but minor ones, but the most important is that both subscriptions were refreshed, charging my credit card, without asking me in advance. You see I wanted to end both subscriptions because of the above reasons, and out of the blue I get an e-mail thanking me for the 1 year subscription payment!

Unfortunately, I have more than 10 months ahead now, but I will email before the end of both subscriptions to make things straight.

In the App Store, when it displays search results, there are two buttons at the top of the screen, just under the clock. One says "iPad Apps" and the other says "iPhone Apps".

If you can't find it pm me your email and I'll send you a screenshot (can't seem to upload pics here).

Can someone tell me when the digital edition comes out? Someone reported already receiving October edition of MBM, yet the digital edition hasn't arrived yet? I can understand my print copy arriving a day or so later in the post than some others, but surely the digital should arrive first.

,MBY will be the first Thursday of each month. MBM is the third Thursday.

Nope, can't see this. Never had a problem with MBM, but MBY appears a bit more challenging.
