Digital Barometers are on sale for £9.99 at LIDL, although they are already sold out at my branch.

From the picture they have all the features of those that cost five times that amount including remote sensor and three year guarantee.

and no, I don't work at LIDL.

Got one,after getting the first store (sold out ) to ring other local-ish stores.Reading the bumf its the dogs bol.....(why are they held insuch high esteem). Barometric change is only shown as increasing, constant or decreasing. Weather symbols or for the next 8 hours show rainy,cloudy, slight cloud, sunny.Shows Hygrometer reading (inside) in & outside temps. clock with alarm , time date year...... If it works cant be bad for £9.99

So the expression "youve got them licked" refers to a dog with a long tongue, or am i missing something here.

Friend of mine wh odied about 10 years ago said he "Wanted to come back in the next life as a dog so he could lick his own nuts".
There again he was from across the pond !
