No you won’t, and propane is way less efficient than petrol - however it is way cleaner.
The calorific value of propane is only around 90% that of petrol, so for every litre of propane burned you will only get 90% of the horsepower of 1 litre of petrol, but the emissions will be lower.
The performance of the engines will be almost identical as the propane motor will be tuned to produce pretty much the same power. Same power will mean same performance - why would it be any different?
