Diesel tight seal in SS

Vetus ILT120 Have purchased, but cant work out what to do with the rubber seal. Watched the youtube and not shown at all, instructions no clearer. Any help please. Do I remove the 4 screws and disassemble it
Don't you cut the hole to the size, then insert the 'plug' and tighten up the screws to squeeze the rubber so it seals against the edge of the hole? Try doing them up out and you should see it bulge .

No, do not dismantle it. If the hole in your tank is the correct diameter (159mm diameter) and the edges of that hole are smooth then you just place the whole assembly into the hole then, as Down West says, when you tighten the screws the rubber seal expands/bulges and seals against the edge of the hole.

Yeah but there is a black rubber seal supplied. Its 16mm high for wall thickness max 4mm, or else 22mm high for thicker. Where does it go ?
