If, for the sake of argument, the red diesel concession was discontinued (I know- hush ma mouth), all our boats laid up in the winter with squillions of squids-worth of fuel on board could be vulnerable. Has anyone given thought to making it secure? Locking filler caps? Armour-plated fuel lines and filler pipes? Tungsten carbide(?) fuel tanks? My boat is steel and the tanks are in the keel but I would hate to visit her one day and find a tap fitted on the side of the keel. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif
