Diesel Prices

As I'm on a swinging mooring and my boatyard only sells diesel to fishermen, I don't bother with red diesel from marinas. I just get 10 or 20 litres when I fill up the car and from memory I paid about £1.06 per litre a few weeks ago.

We do the same as Petitfleur. We use relatively little, and we can keep the tank topped up from cans. Since we are abroad for the summer, we do not want the complication of having to account for red diesel (not that anyone has ever been interested). This summer, the cheapest diesel we found was in Denmark at less than 75p per litre (tax paid, obviously). - yes, I know that was not what you wanted to know!

I've an old friend who has just arrived at Gibraltar, where the diesel is apperently 35c a litre - along way to go for a top up :)
