Hi all,
Now it has turned cold have moved to the inside jobs; new glow plugs yesterday.
Next there is diesel around the base of two injectors, the previous owner said it was the fuel return leaking and has wire ties to help seal the tubes. It is a small amount of diesel taking several hours to pool in the small recess. Having done a search seems small cracks in pipes can also be a problem.
So I thought I might chnage the spill pipes first (length of flexible tube), also wondered whether to try and get a better seal with a short piece of heat shrink?
But How would a knowledgable person check for leaks from another source, thought about clening and then wrapping in kitchen towel?
Engine mercedes om636.
Any thoughts ideas, suggestions welcome.
Thanks in advance.
