In Guernsey (not part of the UK nor the EU), diesel was 46.73p/ltr this week at St Sampsons from a tanker.

Land based diesel for cars and trucks in the U.S. is running $3/gal, and at the marina it's about $4/gal.

Wow, I wasn't aware that in the US there is the same habit as here in IT to rip off boaters with prices much higher than on the road.
That must be the reason why the last time I went boating with a friend in San Diego Bay he filled his petrol boat on the trailer, before hitting the water!
Still, I'd be more than happy to refill at $4/gal around here... Around 1.6 Eur/litre in IT, as PYB said.

Same in Sardinia. About 30c marine premium. Best was calaforte. Same company. Assume same tanks as pumps 30 feet apart. One 30c more than the other !
