I've recently learned that Jays Fluid treats the bug exceptionally well.
Has any one used this with success?

Perhaps you should consider having a specialised firm clean your tank and polish the fuel before treatment.

You would then begin afresh with a clean system.

I believe the main ingredient in Jeyes Fluid is water. Doesn't seem to be very sensible to add that to your tank. Try Marine 16 instead.

I removed my tank last year and completely cleaned it when replacing fuel sender unit. Though it was spotless before apart from some debis in the bottom I did wonder when told of the Jays trick. I have used the proper fluid to keep the dreaded bug at bay.
