Guessing our friendly boatyard owner who's been in the game for years and mates with the local authorities knows every possible wriggle already...
Plus his son in law is a lawyer IIRC.

I “inherited” a salvage claim by a well known German salvage company on a Portuguese troop ship, in the courts of Portugal.
It's Portugal, - probably best to forget it if you're considering a court action for relatively small amounts, and be prepared to wait up to 10 yrs for bigger ones. Also high legal costs potentially.Ah sorry, didn't realise he meant Portugal. There must be some equivalent though.
thank you Mr Moped
Thank You yes that seems to have done the trick. All different on here since I was a regular contributor in pre stroke daysSandyman is your photo at too high a resolution? If the file is too large, ybw reject it and shows as a line through the uploaded file. Use a photo editor to reduce the pixel sze on the longer side to 1000 and make sure the box for keeping the aspect ratio is clicked to keep the shape, then save with an altered file name. It should work then.
Photo is of Kia such a bloody shame.
Yes you were. As you say a few grand & some tlc. Inside shes like a stately home. The woodwork is just unbelievable. How about this hulk lolI think we were in cradle next to Kia last year, as you say such a shame as a few thousand would have brought her back into service. I guess more boats to follow that route, some inherited by children who have no interest, won't pay for storage and can't even be bothered to sell or give away.
Some years back in Southampton was Belsize boat yard.. was a boat scrap yard with many boats to wander around. Could spend a whole afternoon wandering aroundI've always wondered where they go. I'd love to wander around a boat scrap yard looking for useful bits.
