SEGAS member here. There are planning conditions in place that will hopefully allow our club to continue. No clubhouse or storage = no club. Believe it or not but my biggest worry is the services that may not be increased to match new demand ie water, schools, doctors and hospitals. Hopefully Medway have factored this all into thier decision.

It would have helped if previous administrations had noticed the river existed and had at least attempted to draw up a development plan when it should have been started 20 years ago.
It was constantly kicked into the long grass probably for fear of unsettling the NIMBIES and those unable to accept the world has changed regards housing and employment. ?

It will no doubt be upsetting for some and at last a reason for hope for others.
