We do oil tests at work all the time, everyone always comes back from the lab as “Oil Change Recommended” we use the oil test to monitor change and trends and use at least 2 years of 2 monthly samples to guide us. As said spot samples complete waste of time. We are looking at the spectro analyser report is of most use and if your doing annual oil changes even less use
