I am in mid life crisis, I want to go sailing again, but still have hankering for speed, Constaints are a wife who only knows what colour rope to pull not why, altho likes it when its windy but not getting dunked(used to sail Merlin Rockets) Gin must stay level etc.
I want to get my feet under the toe straps again, can the OCEANIS 423 or ELAN 40 do the job, will fit large thing at front for wife to play with.

Two cabins two loos one mine/sons one hers. 145,000 max new. up to two years old considered.

I am in mid life crisis - What powerboater isn't ?
I want to go sailing again-This is a good sign
Can the OCEANIS 423 or ELAN 40 do the job-you're just showing off now
Constaints are a wife who only knows what colour rope to pull not why- so get coloured ropes and labelled jammers.
Altho likes it when its windy - better to have them gale happy than timid
Will fit large thing at front for wife to play with- filthy beast
Two cabins two loos one mine/sons one hers-you can take the boy out of the powerboat but you can't take the powerboat out of the boy
145,000 max new - here you go showing off again
Kingfisher "would they take offers"??- Comparing yourself to Ellen MacArthur already, your at it again ?

Found Greek selling new dufours well equiped down to dustpan, at 8000 less than UK guys, No he's no bearing gifts??. Or is it a 90 year old frieghter bought from india.
I have sailed big boats before even larger than Kingfisher, but out of touch with the market. I looked on in envy at a Swed with his nice crisp mylar sails and wife loveingly folding them (very Nice).

Going down to Ipswich to look at a 423 would like to see a Dufour 40, one question how do saildrives stand up to wear, nothing worse than a outdrive on a sailboat.

As for wife and child, child is happy on any boat with fridge computer, beer. wife happy with make up mirror.

I expect I'll get jarred off when all my friends roar past but at least I'll be accepted at most places as a real sailor?? and spoken to! not about!
