Got this delivered today, ready to go in the boat once she’s delivered to Loch Lomond. Currently running in the office. Make a massive difference to the air quality in the office. Be interesting to see what’s it like on the boat.
MeacoDry Arete® One 20L Dehumidifier / Air Purifier

When you power off and then switch back on the settings remain so should be fine on shore power etc.

Should be fine on a boat assuming the castors aren't an issue .

I have set my Meaco DD8L on the least demanding humidity setting. It's cutting in and out as required and using 40p per day in electricity the last week of substantially above zero temperatures and just filling its own container in a week . The boat feels nicely fresh and dry . I used to use the higher power (lower humidity) setting but finding the lower setting is sufficient .
These dehumidifiers are brilliant bits of kit and well worth it.

Agreed, taken 26lt out of 2 room at home since last Sunday. everything feels fresher even though we didn't have an unfresh problem. I bought 8 hydrometers from amazon for €20 and spread them around the house and you can tell which rooms have had the dehumidifier in. a good 20% less.
