Dehler 36 CWS

Hello forum people
I am in the midst of creating a page on my blog explaining all about the boat I own, a Dehler 36 CWS.
So far all I have in there is interior shots from when I bought it 5 years ago.
It has changed considerably inside and out during the time of my ownership.

I was going to show out of the water pics, rig set up pics and chart table pics with explanation of switches etc.
the interior is still pretty much as standard, but the rig has been completely changed and upgraded from standard.
I do get asked quite often about my boat, and I thought this could be a useful resource for potential would-be buyers of other Dehler 36's. (mine isn't for sale)

I just wondered what other information people might be interested in seeing on a page like this?

If anyone can suggest additions to it I would be most grateful.
I'd consider setting up more pages like this of other boats that belong to friends, which I think could be really useful for folks looking for info beyond what a sales broker might give you. for example, my friends boat lost its rudder due to manufacturer defect and he has a modified rudder, complete with drawings and how it was modified.

I might be able to enter your civilised racing club, but have no pot noodle. My grill can barely make toast. I assume that counts as there was no time limit specified.

As to the details, suggest adding more details, things that make it different. The doors looked interesting. Locker pictures, deck hardware details/pictures. Engine porn?

right, I should section it up a bit, so ther'es interior living space/accommodation/storage, technical such as chart table and electrical cupboard/ wind and solar set up, engine and engine hole, I have original wiring diagram and manual for the boat so that might be useful to others, then theres the exterior, deck style, underdeck sheaves and hardware, the changed rig, the inherant flaw with dehler mast build from the early 90's, wheel size, autopilot and what instruments are used.
sail plan, sizes, what sails are used,
I suppose what I was driving at, was: should show the Dehler in its original form or the form now that I've changed it a bit to suit a lighterweight solo or double hander. ?

I would say either, as I would read either.

Might be worth seperating the mods into another section to be explicit

I really enjoyed the blog - the 36 CWS is on my potential list so I would love some of your personal experience and details on how she sails, what works and doesn't (like you mention with the jib - could you barber haul it off the wind ?). Something along the lines of a YM Used Boat Review ?

Sorry for delay reply, yes, I've had enough people asking me various questions that I thought I should write something more comrehensinve so that they can dip in and out whilst considering their purchase options.
little things like, have the mast spreaders been sealed against the mast to avoid corrosion, something I didnt know was a problem until a couple of years ago. during routine maintenance found that out the hard way.
lots of little things, quirks and foibles. A friend has another one just 2 years younger, and she keeps it in the same essex marina I sued to keep mine in. its really good having boats to compare with, as she broke something and popped round mine to look at what it should look like as mine wasnt broken. Ive looked round hers to see how it was upgraded in other ways too. the cockpit lines are different.
theres at least 3 more dehler 36's in the marina im in. Which is handy. Im compiling lots of variances in my note book.
