Well I have managed to buy a well looked after 35ft yacht with excellent pedigree, plenty of space and better performance than I had aimed for. Indeed I managed all of this for £14k and can only say that there are bargains to be had. Yes it is in Scotland, yes I did have to move quickly (being a cash buyer as opposed to having a boat to sell) and yes there is a small amount of work to do. So £1k to have it moved south by road and for £15k I have a better boat than I had hoped for. So hopefully I should soon be back inside a boat every weekend and by April back on the water. See you out there.

indeed, congratulations. After the heartbreak of losing your previous boat in that accident, I hope you have lots of happy and cheerful sea miles together in future.

(Bet you get as involved with this one ! :) )

I see that you are a marine engineer. Was that a necessary factor of the equation? Otherwise she has lovely lines. Well done and I hope you have many hours of happy sailing in her.
