I haven't come across this before. Where is this located and how does it work in a Phantom 50?

Try looking in the fwd anchor locker. There is also probably an outlet towards the back / bathing platform.

Am I correct in assuming they are plumbed to the fresh water system ?

on my Atlantic 38 it pumped sea water. Ok for sluicing down a muddy anchor but not much else.

Sounds good although it must be broken on the boat in buying )

They can be fresh or sea water although its not good to wash down using salt water, best to use fresh water if tank capacity allows. It would be easy to change, look for seacock near to fwd end.

Indeed. The idea is to wash the salt off :encouragement:
