I've just replaced my old Jabsco water pump with a Seaflo one, it's great - quieter and with higher flow. Personally I wet the deck with hose, scrub with a soft bristled broom/bucket of soapy water, rinse with hose again. I really don't see the time or effort saved being worth having another mains electric device to store and faff with but each to their own...

Am looking for a 12v device that I can plum in permanently to a spare sea cock.

I fitted a pressure controlled 12VDC pump in to my deck wash setup.

The pump was the same type as used for fresh water sink system and it works fine

I fitted a changeover valve to allow me to feed it with sea water or fresh water mainly to rince the pump and/or deck with fresh water after using sea water
